I have two GP9's. One is just a little bit slower than the other. If I MU them which engine do I want in the lead? Cheers, Jim CCRR:unsure:

Jim, dcc them and adust their speed . Ok, this is my real answer. Run the faster engine in the lead. That is because the faster engine will pull the slower engine. If you run the slower engine first, the faster engine will catch up to the slower engine causing a slack in the coupler, and it will cause uncoupling, specially on a curve.

				Jim,
just pull the shells off the locos and re-adjust the screws keeping the chassis together. It's no joke, MTL seems to have some variation in the assemnbly process and by adjusting the tightening you can achieve the same speed....I do it this way

Gerd, Great tip. Do you trust me to try this? Or should I get my friend Don Fedjur from the ZoCal group to do it? Cheers, Jim CCRR:unsure:

				Jim,
easy, just lift up the shell as in the MTL instruction, can't do it wrong...or?
