mine works fine on both DC and DCC, but on DCC only the Digitrax system or the new tablet system from Rokuhan allows you to command turntable to position using the turnout function on Digitrax, and command table on Rokuhan but this system is not available in North America yet. As supplied the turntable comes with a control box and it works well on DC or DCC, There is a bit of a learning curve to handle the polarity coming from main track to turntable and stall tracks, but it is well defined in the instructions. You will need ROkuhan Insulators A013 to set up electric controls properly plus Track power lead A008, the controller for Turntable can be power from snap connections on side of RC03 and RC02 controllers or from the A018 (north America )wall transformer. (A011 (Japan), there is another one for Europe, but I do not know the number. ) The base unit has three stall tracks but it can be expanded in multiples of 3 to more stall/service tracks around turntableA035. You can purchase a three stall roundhouseS038 that interlocks with the turntable and it can be expanded in multiples of 3 also. The only thing I found in my installation was the supplied cable from controller to turntable was too short but there is an extension cable available as a spare part (A036, which solved that problem.

Moin,

the 2nd video is an older one, 'cause the "Open/close function of door" didn't realize !
I've asked Rokuhan for the mechanismen and here is the answer :

Hi, Rolf Hasselmann san,

Thanks for contacting Rokuhan website !

You are talking about "Open/close function of door" in the movie.

Yes, its spec at the designing stage in 2014 was like this. But we found such mechanism was complicated and would be easily damaged by small shock. Thus, we finally decided to give up this system and made it simpler without doors.

We are sorry if you have incorrect understanding about this product S038, but we also announced the spec of final version in 2015.04 like this. (without doors).

S038 Round house final spec 2015.04

Thanks for your kind understanding !

Best regards,
Rokuhan support

Bye,

Rolf

I should mention that the opening and closing doors on the roundhouse video shown in the pre-production sample used for the video did not make it to the final release, the doorways are open with no doors present in the production roundhouse model. Rokuhan reported that the automatic system was not robust enough to survive.
