He makes Z scale US switchers :-)

Hi Konrad,

Gerard Huet has released those Switcher a while ago and they look pretty good, but I haven't seen anyone buying and showing them here or on other boards???

The discussion was on trainboard, a couple of months ago. The main problem was, when I remember correctly, that there wasn´t enough space between motor and shell to put a decoder in it.

Check his website again ... looks like he already sells them with the decoder built in.

Ups, so forget about my post.

I would like to see one running before I send my money.

I bit the bullet and put down a payment on one CP and one CN switcher--I will post my impressions when they are built.

That's good, Brian, keep us up to date, interesting to see how they run and how many cars they can switch due to one truck power.

Not really. When I was allegedly called a "manufacturer", I've offered the DRG ET194 electric railcar with DCC. The other side of the story, there was not much of interest about DCC equipped locomotives. I made only one for a wonderful Z-scaler in the U.K.
