I have a new module in the works too. But Majic Water dries slower than plaster. Especially in a chilly basement. 'Can't touch anything while the water is drying. Besides the water, there is other work to be done on the module. I hope I can get it done in time.

Robert, please let me know how you like the Majic Water, as I will have a fairly large area to do. I hope you get done everything you want in time. I only have my Main track worked out in one of three sections, the rest will be done as I go along. Post a picture of the construction, if your comfortable doing that. Good luck!

Once again, here is the contest prize. Its not that great of a picture but I happened to have it on my computer. Most of you all have a caboose and a bridge so just take a photo of them together and at least try to win. I promise that the winner won't be disappointed.

Hmmmm, I'm a little disappointed that there aren't at least a dozen entrants to this contest... The last day is just about here. Is it the caboose, the bridge, or the combo that is holding you all back? Maybe its the lame prize????

Hello Karin, I am trying to prepare a portion of my layout to install the bridge but have encountered various setbacks due mainly to track elevation issues and time availability, I am in the middle of home renovations and by the time I finish each day I am too sore to due much else. I have a picture on the site now that I will use for the contest if I am unable to get the bridge installed in time.

Karin, Jim:

Count on one more entry. Since my bridge was still in the building phase when the photo contest was started, I am still finishing it up. The bridge body itself has been finished for awhile. Last night I painted the ties (though they won't be visible at the angle I'm planning to shoot).

My biggest hurdle has been making the abutments for either side. But I have been pressing forward there. I just glued them on to the test platform this morning before work. Just a little more work, and I should be ready to take the picture. I'm hoping to have the work done by tonight and shoot the picture tomorrow after work (praying for sun).

I realllly like bridges and cabeese are my absolute favorite car.. I would love to enter but I have nothing to enter.. I will enjoy the pics of others. When I get to the point of not worried about food and rent, I am going to get that Merchants Street bridge. And I'll have a nice caboose to go over it.

Fred, resting the back between bouts of flooring. Now that I am done for the day I can work on the layout, if the old back allows it. If all goes well, I'll have 3 bridges and one caboose. Which bridge to it on?
