Nite all....ZU next time |

But supposedly PWRS wanted to do the same idea, and then MTL said they had them in their pipeline as a rerun too. That was about 20 years ago and neither have happened |
3-7 2:11:29 |
soccrdad30
|
Oh, that is interesting Doug |
3-7 2:10:47 |

|
I was just having them do extra numbers on an existing scheme. No artwork needed. |
3-7 2:09:13 |
soccrdad30
|
I also heard you had to do your own graphics and that MTL would retain rights to them to produce anytime in the future |
3-7 2:07:34 |

I don't remember what the minimum was when I checked. |
3-7 2:07:23 |
DAZed
|
I heard it was 200 for Z |
3-7 2:06:58 |
DAZed
|
In N the minimum run was qty 300 officially, but I was told they would work with me on that. |
3-7 2:06:03 |
rvn2001
|
There's a minimum. |
3-7 2:05:54 |
rvn2001
|
There is/was. |
3-7 2:05:33 |
soccrdad30
|
I think there was a limit on how many to produce? |
3-7 2:04:46 |
rvn2001

I looked into it when we were forming the MidweZt HaulerZ. |

Doug, if you still have plenty of checks, you *must* have plenty of money! |
3-7 2:03:52 |
soccrdad30
|
it was not cheap to do a custom run |
3-7 2:03:36 |
DAZed
|
Mike, if they take checks I got plenty of those! |
3-7 2:03:24 |
rvn2001

I haven't checked on that in a long time. It would have to be something they already make...just custom painting and printing. |
3-7 2:02:46 |
DAZed
|
Ha yes what Thom said |
3-7 2:02:24 |
DAZed
|
I wonder if they would still do custom runs |
3-7 2:02:00 |
rvn2001
|
We could always have something custom-made from them with enough money. |
3-7 2:01:26 |
ejshelton
|
I doubt that would help.....they just don't want to budge.....they make enough with N |
3-7 2:01:24 |
GNFan
|
Maybe they take credit cards? |
3-7 2:00:50 |
soccrdad30
|
no one has those |
3-7 2:00:47 |

|
Who among us has any of these large bills of which you speak? |
3-7 2:00:04 |

Me neither |

We've tried at shows and it falls on deaf ears. |

I wish there was a way to talk some sense into them |
3-7 1:55:37 |

very sad |

True, John. But it doesn't sound s if you'll get that wish. |
3-7 1:53:32 |
soccrdad30

I would wish the same for MTL |

On the whole, I appreciate AZL's work, and that they are sticking with Z. (I suppose otherwise they'd be A_L. ) |
3-7 1:50:08 |

|
But I agree, they have far more hits than misses |
3-7 1:50:06 |

That's what I figured, Doug. |
3-7 1:49:21 |

Mike that is exactly what they did with the JBH containers. Well and they ended up more blue than gray. |
3-7 1:47:47 |
GNFan
|
AZL does seem to do their research. That said, every once in a while they get caught with an odd color or an odd customization that was not standard for a given line, but they found the outlier example, and treated that as the representative example. (Oops!) |
3-7 1:46:41 |

There are a few notable new ones though |

Did you get anything from the July AZL release, Doug? |

I’m having enough trouble affording everything I want from AZL. So for now I’m holding off shedding a tear about MTL |
