7-6 17:54:43 rvn2001 I understand, Doug....but you know me.
7-6 17:54:13 DAZed the spare parts aren't to customize, just purely for road numbers
7-6 17:54:06 rvn2001 ...and you could make one mistake, John... :D
7-6 17:53:46 soccrdad30 Right, at the same time...
7-6 17:53:38 rvn2001 True.
7-6 17:53:29 soccrdad30 that would be a cool idea Thom
7-6 17:53:16 DAZed the spare parts are simply to facilitate multiple road numbers. But you still have to buy additional locos if you want to have multiple locos.
7-6 17:52:14 rvn2001 You should be able to customize the spare parts too.
7-6 17:52:11 ejshelton Just went through here. Didn't make it....
7-6 17:51:30 soccrdad30 To me... the options are a great idea, why buy separate locos, when all you have to do is interchange the parts
7-6 17:51:26 Guba Big Boy rolling through my area tomorrow
7-6 17:49:39 rvn2001 Rob K indicated that it was a work-around for their minimum pricing.
7-6 17:49:11 GNFan Interesting dichotomy: expensive, modern high-speed passenger train and customizable, cheaper steam locomotive in the coversation.
7-6 17:48:43 soccrdad30 Thom, the options are the cool part. No one has done that before.
7-6 17:47:18 GNFan The TGVs aren't cheap. Very good looking, and they run well (they'd better, for the price).
7-6 17:46:59 soccrdad30 there is not too many Z scale suppliers any more
7-6 17:46:19 ejshelton I guess I need to do more looking around
7-6 17:45:44 rvn2001 Yup, I've seen them there and on ZTrack's Facebook page.
7-6 17:45:30 soccrdad30 SRP is 308.00
7-6 17:45:03 soccrdad30 Thom, Anthony has them at the top of his home page
7-6 17:44:55 Guba I'll pass on the new release
7-6 17:44:07 rvn2001 I think they're ZTrack exclusives. It's a mechanism with one set of cab and front boiler front end and 2 additional options for both.
7-6 17:43:54 soccrdad30 That is interesting, I wonder how the Azar Z is selling
7-6 17:43:45 ejshelton I haven't seen them but I'm not on all sites
7-6 17:43:06 GNFan Steve E., is regional (PNW), yes. He is, last I checked, the only Azar (French TGV) US dealer.
7-6 17:43:00 soccrdad30 I think Rob posted some pics aswell as Anthony
7-6 17:42:39 soccrdad30 :)
7-6 17:42:20 ejshelton I hadn't seen them yet.....but I expect if they're at the national I'll be hauled over to look.
7-6 17:41:29 rvn2001 I'll need to hear that the side-rods stay on. It's also more expensive than I want to spend.
7-6 17:41:16 soccrdad30 so this Steve is a local or regional seller
7-6 17:40:17 soccrdad30 I think Rokuhan is releasing two RR's and interesting interchangeable parts for different types of locomotives
7-6 17:40:17 GNFan Yes, Thom, different Steve. I don't believe Steve has any YouTube videos, at least not related to MRR.
7-6 17:39:14 soccrdad30 I have not seen any of his layouts... I don't think
7-6 17:38:56 rvn2001 So...how many of you have pre-ordered the new Rokuhan 0-6-0?
7-6 17:38:26 GNFan The layouts are his specialty - 8 x 10 layouts using the smallest radius Rokuhan curves, sold with controller and "Shorty" locomotive to complete the set. But he sells track (larger radii, and/or longer straights), Shorty shells, etc., too.
7-6 17:36:01 soccrdad30 oh, a different 'Steve', man am I losing it... :(
7-6 17:35:14 soccrdad30 I must have seen most of his videos
7-6 17:35:09 rvn2001 Not the same "Steve", John....right, Mike?
7-6 17:34:44 soccrdad30 ah, I did not know that
7-6 17:34:29 GNFan He mostly sells at shows.
7-6 17:34:03 soccrdad30 so he sells Z too?
7-6 17:33:35 soccrdad30 oh, I thought that guy only did youtube videos
7-6 17:33:16 GNFan Hi, *Joe*. ;-)
7-6 17:32:54 GNFan "Steve's Z Layouts"
7-6 17:32:48 Guba LOL
7-6 17:32:28 soccrdad30 apologies, brain fart... Joe
7-6 17:32:21 ejshelton Hi Joe
7-6 17:32:15 Guba Hi everyone
7-6 17:32:08 soccrdad30 what business doe Steve Eichman have?
